How You Can Help Operation Care is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 providing domestic violence and sexual assault support services, crisis intervention and education to Amador County, California. If you have a little bit of time or a little bit of money, or some used items you no longer need, you can help us fulfill our mission. Click the links for more information: Donate via PayPal | Donate via Mail or in Person | Donate your Used Car | Donate your Cell Phone | Donate your Time | Donate your Gently Used Items Every little bit helps!
Your donation is tax deductible (consult your tax advisor for more)
Donate by mail or in person Donate your car (and get a Tax Deduction!) Do you have a car you want to donate? Simply call 800-513-6560, give them the information about your vehicle, and that you would like the proceeds donated to Operation Care and they will arrange for your vehicle to be picked up. You will receive a receipt for your charitable contribution, while helping battered women. If you're upgrading your cell phone, you can donate your old phone to help victims of violent crimes. Operation Care is paid up to $20 per cell phone donated, and if our clients need a phone, they can get "clean" phones in return so they can't be tracked. We need a volunteer to coordinate drop off and pick up stations around the county, and promotion of this program. If you are interested, please call Tina at 223-2897. Donate your Time. Donate your Gently Used Items.
