Counseling Services

Counselors work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault,
and their friends and family.

Counseling services include:

• 24-hour Sexual Assault and Domestic violence help lines.
• Short-term peer counseling.
• The facilitation of children's activities as well as peer counseling for children at the Safe House and at the Operation Care office.

Support Groups:

The support groups are open to anyone who is experiencing or has been through any type of sexual assault/abuse or domestic violence. Groups are held at the Operation Care Office.

• "Beginning to Heal" is a sexual assault survivor's group for people who have not been involved in a support group before.
• "The Woman Within" is a more advanced sexual assault survivor's group dealing with the deeper issues. You must go through "Beginning to Heal" before joining this group. This is a closed group meaning you can only join at the start of its duration.
• Domestic Violence support group.
