Operation Care is a non-profit organization founded in 1980
providing domestic violence and sexual assault support services,
crisis intervention and education to Amador County, California.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM
RAPE CRISIS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Counseling, advocacy and accompanying services for
survivors of family/domestic violence and sexual assault
including safe house shelter, food, and clothing for
women, men and children escaping domestic violence.

Counselors are also available 24-hours a day for people
experiencing depression, loneliness, substance abuse, stress,
parenting difficulties, teenage crisis and/or child abuse.

In addition to staff, Operation Care relies heavily on volunteers to provide services
to the community. We aid hundreds of individuals each year who contact us
or are referred to us by local agencies.

The goal of Operation Care is to reach out to local residents in crisis.
Our success is possible only because of the generous contributions of businesses
and individuals in our community. Your contributions to Operation Care help assure
that we will be here to help the people in our community at critical times in their lives.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

There are a multitude of ways that computers record everything you do on the computer and on the Internet. If you are in danger, please try to use a safe computer, one that someone abusive does not have direct, or even remote access. Computers are often available in public libraries and at local businesses. If you believe your computer use is being monitored, it will be much safer for you to find a place that your abuser does not have access to than to count on clearing your Internet cache.
